theatre KAPOW presents 3+ One Acts by David Lindsay-Abaire
February 26 - 27, 2010

theatre KAPOW continues their second season February 26 and 27 with an evening of one-act comedies by Pulitizer prize-winning dramatist David Lindsay-Abaire at the Stockbridge Theatre in Derry, NH.  Directed by Matthew Cahoon and NH theatre veteran, Don Tongue, the production features tKAPOW regulars Joel Breen and Carey Cahoon, and welcomes four actors new to the company: Gail Angellis, Mitch Fortier, Chris Pizolato, and Carryl Roy.

Three of the short plays in this collection (Crazy Eights, Baby Food, and That Other Person) were all originally written as part of The 24 Hour Plays on Broadway, an annual benefit in which one acts are written, cast, directed and performed in less than one day.  An added bonus for the evening is Lindsay-Abaire’s hilarious monologue, The History Lesson.  Together, they make for a raucous, foot-stomping evening which redefines fresh.

Performances are Friday, February 26 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, February 27 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm at the Stockbridge Theatre in Derry, NH.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the Stockbridge Theatre Box Office at (603) 437-5210, or online at www.tkapow.com.
