Who We Are
Carey Cahoon (Founding Member) works as a scenic designer and director based in southern New Hampshire. She is pleased to return to her alma mater each season to direct the Abbey Players at Saint Anselm College, as well as to design and build the sets for the Players. Carey has also worked at the historic Palace Theatre, Andy's Summer Playhouse, and with Manchester's Theatre in the Park program. www.careycahoon.com
Matthew Cahoon (President, Founding Member) is the Arts Facility Director for the Spaulding Center for the Arts and Humanities at Pinkerton Academy in Derry. The Spaulding Center houses a 3,000 square foot visual arts gallery, a 75-seat black box theatre, and the 900-seat Stockbridge Theatre. His work as a presenter has included concerts with many national and international touring artists including The Vienna Boys Choir, Jason Robert Brown, Rockapella, and Adam Pascal. Matt was the Production Manager/Technical Director for the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Matt servesas the Technical Director for the Anselmian Abbey Players of St. Anselm College. Matt has worked in a variety of different capacities with several professional, community, and educational theatres including The Actors Theatre of Columbus (OH), Lakes Region Summer Theatre, Manchester Community Theatre Players, and Yellow Taxi Productions. Matt holds an MA in Arts Administration from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD where he is now a member of the adjunct faculty for the distance learning Master’s program in Arts Administration.
Rachel Follien (Board Member, Founding Member) worked as a stage manager for the Palace Professional Productions at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH. She lives in Warner, NH with her husband, Brian, and their daughter Charlotte.
Brian Kennedy (Founding Member) is a writer, performer and musician living in Warner, NH. Past credits include Rod in Singin' In The Rain and the Young Fool in Big River at the Palace Theatre.
