2016 Summer Retreat
July 11 - 16, 2016

Spend a week of creativity and theater training in the idyllic setting of Chanticleer Gardens in Dunbarton, New Hampshire.

31 Stark Highway North (half-mile north of downtown on Rte 13)

Company Members and artists retreat to a farm in Dunbarton for a week of training and exploration to prepare for season 8. Daily sessions include a combination of Movement, Voice, Object Work, Improvisation and Composition. Training with company members in the Michael Chekhov Method, Viewpoints, Voice and Psycho-physical improvisation is complimented by guest artists who specialize in dance, tai chi, marionette puppetry and more.

We'll put all of these practices to work in the creation of new work, and the week will culminate with an informal performance (an in-formance!) on Saturday, July 16 at 2 pm.

Sound like fun? We welcome you to participate for the whole week, or come when you can. Previous experience or training is not required, but a spirit of adventure and exploration is!
